I was talking to my good friend Andy about my blog today, and he gave me some really good ideas. We got to brainstorming and I am not proud to announce that Diamonds for Tracy is now a human experiment in love. I have always been fascinated by the human spirit, and therefore I have decided to turn my goal of buying my girlfriend her dream ring into a "human experiment" of sorts.
Do you believe in love?
Do you want to donate in tribute of someone you love?
Is it possible for anyone to care about the love a total stranger has found?
Donate, and email me your love story, your donation tribute, or any words of encouragement to wordofmouthmn@gmail.com and I will post them as we go along. Here is the catch. I need you to tell as many people as you can because I am now looking to accomplish this goal in 60 days. Now, to show that I too believe in love, I am going to donate any dollar amount over my goal (up to $3000) to ANOTHER person in my similar situation. That person will be a donor who can also share their own love story. If we go beyond THAT goal, I will be donating the rest to the American Cancer Society. Everyone has had their lives touched by cancer, and have decided that if I can save someone's love by expressing my own, this whole site will be worth the work. We're at $70 today already and it's only day one!
I have sent my story out to news stations around the country, so be a part of something beautiful. Share your love and let's make something magical..for my girlfriend and for your loves.
