What's the story with you two?

Some of you may wonder why I am doing this.

I met my girlfriend at a coffee shop, purely by coincidence, and chatted for a bit. We then "facebooked" each other and exchanged phone numbers. Our first date was just the normal drinks and conversation type date, but we were together for 5 hours. That night was our first kiss and it blew me away.

We spent every other day together from that first date until she went on a cruise around Christmas. She and I shared time together into the new year, and on January 11th, as we spent the morning together, tears filled her eyes and she told me she loved me.

As time went on, we began to talk about a life together..raising kids, buying a home, and everything else that comes along with it.

Marrying her will be the biggest accomplishment of my life and I eagerly await the day I can ask her to be my bride.

My financial position is not allowing me to make that dream a reality. With student loans galore coupled with the cost of raising an amazing 5yr old daughter, I am doing my best to remain financially stable, but by doing so, I have had to put dreams of purchasing a ring on hold. I broke down the cost of the ring into dollar increments and will be posting a "percentage to goal" notice every so often. I hope you can find it in your heart to chip in..any amount is fine, but please also pass this site along to your friends. It is always nice to see people believing in the power of goodness and love.
